Every Hand Has a Story
Behind every hand is a lifetime of memories, love, and resilience. Many of our clients' hands have raised children, built careers, cooked meals, written letters, created art, and even served our country during wars. Some hands once worked long shifts, planted gardens, played instruments, held newborn babies, and wiped tears of loved ones during difficult times.
At BWC Senior Companions, we believe every hand tells a story worth honoring. During our weekly visits, we have the privilege of listening, laughing, learning, and building genuine connections as clients share pieces of their journey with us. Whether we are learning a new game together, assembling a puzzle, coloring, reminiscing, reading, brushing a client's hair, polishing nails or simply sitting side by side in conversation, we cherish the time to slow down and truly get to know our amazing seniors.
Their hands remind us that every wrinkle carries a story.
Our Clients' Hands Gallery
Please take a moment to ENJOY viewing the hands and activities of some of our clients during our weekly visits. Whether we're sharing a cup of coffee or a mocktail together we show up prepared. As you will notice, some people are drawn to puzzles, listening to classical music, reviewing flashcards, reading, petting a fur baby, or playing a game of chess. However, these photographs are intended to capture the many ways we connect with seniors of different cognitive abilities, personalities, communication styles, and interests.
