At BWC Senior Companions, our team believes aging is not simply about the later years of life; it is about continuing to live fully, joyfully, and with purpose. We understand that seniors do not just need assistance; they also need laughter, connection, uplifting experiences, and something to look forward to each day. Part of our purpose is to help eradicate boredom and replace loneliness with friendship, fun, and genuine companionship.

Meet Emily | Program Coordinator > South End Territory
Growing up in a military environment, Emily did not have the opportunity to form close connections with her grandparents. Instead, she found meaningful friendships with retired veterans on Air Force bases. Whether through conversations, arts/crafts or attending community events, little Emily was often found at a table connecting naturally with older adults.
In 2023, after working in early childhood education, Emily stepped into her role in senior living and from the very first day, it feels like everything had come full circle. The same natural ability to connect, nurture and create joy had followed me into this new chapter.
Emily is truly grateful to work alongside seniors and their communities, creating moments that are meaningful, lighthearted and full of lasting memories.

Meet Sarah | Program Coordinator > Eastside Territory
Sarah brings her passion for relationship-building to her role as Program Coordinator – Eastside. She finds it an honor and a joy to connect with seniors, providing a positive presence, a kind smile, and meaningful interaction with each visit.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys singing in a couple Seattle-area tribute bands and spending time with her family, especially her two nieces.
A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, you can usually find her enjoying a local cider, especially if she's on a kayak or paddleboard – or anywhere near the water!

Meet Taylor | Program Coordinator Asst > Tacoma & South King Co.
Taylor serves as a Program Coordinator for BWC Senior Companions, proudly serving South King County and North Pierce. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections and bringing joy, creativity, and companionship to the seniors and families she works with.
Taylor's “why” is deeply rooted in compassion and care, inspired by her mom’s work as an occupational therapist and her own experiences supporting loved ones through the aging journey. She brings a warm, thoughtful approach to everything she does, with a focus on making each interaction engaging, supportive, and truly impactful.
Outside of work, you can usually find Taylor unwinding with a good book or trying out new crafts!
